Effective August 1, 2026
FiscalFounders Inc. (“FiscalFounders,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services to growing companies. To deliver those services, we connect to your QuickBooks Online account through Intuit’s Developer Platform. This policy explains what QuickBooks data we access, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can revoke access at any time. It supplements our general privacy practices and applies specifically to data obtained through the QuickBooks Online API.
When you connect your QuickBooks Online account to FiscalFounders and grant authorization through Intuit’s OAuth process, we may access:
We request only the scopes necessary to perform the bookkeeping and accounting services described in our engagement with you, and we do not access QuickBooks data for any account that is not actively engaged with FiscalFounders.
We use QuickBooks data solely to provide the accounting services you’ve engaged us for, including:
We do not use QuickBooks data to build advertising profiles, to train general-purpose or third-party AI models, or for any purpose unrelated to delivering the services you’ve engaged FiscalFounders for. Any internal use of AI-assisted tools is limited to processing on our behalf, under the sub-processor terms below, and never involves your data being used to retrain a third-party foundation model.
QuickBooks data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored on infrastructure with encryption at rest. Access is limited to authorized personnel who need it to deliver your engagement, and is protected with role-based access controls and audit logging. We never store your QuickBooks or Intuit account credentials — authentication is handled entirely by Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 flow.
We retain QuickBooks data only for as long as needed to provide services under your engagement, and thereafter to meet legal, tax, and audit-documentation obligations. When your engagement ends, you may request deletion of retained data by contacting us at hello@fiscalfounders.com, subject to any records we are required to retain by law.
You control the connection between QuickBooks Online and FiscalFounders at all times. You may disconnect our access at any time from within QuickBooks Online (Settings → Connected Apps), or by notifying us directly. Once disconnected, we lose all further API access to your QuickBooks data, and any previously synced data is handled per the retention terms above.
Our services and this policy are directed at businesses, not individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as our services or obligations under Intuit’s Developer Platform evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
